► They were the most in-demand of all the session players - Guitarist Cornell Dupree, bassist Gordon Edwards, drummer Steve Gadd, guitarist Eric Gale and keyboardist Richard Tee probably played on most of the albums you bought in the 1970's and beyond. Their only Montreux Jazz Festival appearance came in 1976, and they did not disappoint. Eagle Rock Entertainment is proud to announce the release of Stuff's Live At Montreux 1976 - on CD and DVD on July 15th.

► Hybrid is the first album from Montreal's elsiane - the creative project launched by Elsieanne Caplette and Stephane Sotto. The duo's debut is a lush, emotionally evocative album haunted by the sensitive beauty of Caplette's unique, yearning voice that soars and dances ecstatically over evocative string arrangements. Each song on Hybrid is an invitation to float atop a mysterious and beautiful sea, a deep pool of sound whose reflections appease as much as they disquiet.

Nine Inch Nails is releasing its downloadable album, The Slip, as a limited physical edition on CD and DVD. The band will release only 250,000 copies worldwide, each including exclusive footage of the band and a 24-page booklet.

► Following up on 2007's The 5th Annual End of the World Tour, TV star and stand-up comic Christopher Titus is back at it again with his follow up record, Norman Rockwell Is Bleeding, in stores July 22nd. Christopher Titus's breakout hit one-man show - Norman Rockwell Is Bleeding - is now available on double CD. Chronicling Titus's remarkable rollercoaster life with tales of insanity, parental fist fighting, and then some really crazy stuff, the show is an hour and a half of unbelievable, and unbelievably funny stories. "Norman Rockwell Is Bleeding" was the inspiration for the hit show "Titus", and showcases a comedian that Time magazine calls "brutal, hilarious and audacious."

Slightly Stoopid's new CD is Slightly Not Stoned Enough to Eat Breakfast Yet Stoopid. Don't get stuck on the band's name... Slightly Stoopid's latest, an odds and ends collection, is the perfect summer soundtrack. There's the UB40 cover "I Would Do For You," the irresistible acoustic jive of "Train 1," and the Caribbean sounds of "On and On." Choosing to remain wholly independent and without the benefit of radio, MTV or other traditional sales methods, the band's breezy blend of everything from the Grateful Dead to Dire Straits to Joe Higgs to Delroy Wilson has sold more than a half-million CDs.

► Emotionally charged and overflowing with brainy pop hooks, Break The Silence finds Jon Peter Lewis offering the offbeat wit and inviting persona that made him an Idol cult favorite. ► The legendary chart topping career of Little Richard is capsulated in the new 25 track album The Very Best of Little Richard. The singer took music to a new level with the pounding piano, the high voice and trills, and the sexually suggestive lyrics starting with his 1955 hit "Tutti Fruitti."

► There are only a handful of rock artists that have proven to be as enduring and influential as Alice Cooper has over the years. Name just about any hard rock artist, and they've probably borrowed a thing or two from Alice. And on his latest studio recording, Along Came A Spider, Alice has returned with a concept album with a sinister streak. Check out his summer tour dates here.

Scars on Broadway, the long-awaited collaboration between guitarist-frontman Daron Malakian and drummer John Dolmayan, both best known for their work in the multi-Platinum-selling, Grammy-winning band System of a Down, have signed with Interscope Records and will see their self-titled debut released on July 29. With Malakian sitting in the Scars' producer chair, he and Dolmayan entered the studio last September, recorded nearly two-dozen songs for the album, and then whittled down the final track listing to 14 songs.

Different from the chaotic/alt/metal sound of SOAD, the Scars tracks are more song-based and showcase Malakian's varied writing style, from the simmering rock sound of "World Long Gone" to the melodic yet desolate "Universe." And "They Say," the first track leaked to the public, is heavy, but in more of a 1970's punk fashion. Some of the other confirmed tracks include "Enemy," "Stoner Hate," "Babylon," and "Cute Machines." Scars on Broadway has already played a handful of live shows, including Coachella 2008, where the Los Angeles Times singled them out as "one of the festival's hottest highlights." Scars plans to tour extensively to support the new album.
