New EP:
Datarock are excited to announce the release of their new digital EP, Computer Camp Love EP, which includes five remixes from one of the band's biggest musical influences, Devo.

Meanwhile the band is back home in Norway working on their upcoming album.
About the Band:
With their matching red tracksuits and vintage Porsche wraparound sunglasses, Datarock are as visually arousing as they are sonically booty shaking, but there is more going than meets the eye (or the bum). As Jon Parales wrote in his New York Times live review, "Backed by the musical ingenuity it took to construct all those hooks, funk vamps and choruses - and to push people onto the dance floor- the songs still confessed to heartache, frustration and confusion... Datarock's ears are in the past, while its mind... is fully in the present."

DATAROCK DATAROCK was released by Nettwerk Music Group and immediately caught the attention of nerds and cool kids alike. Check out what the critics have said:

"The rollicking debut album from Norwegian geek-rock duo is packed with winks to Devo, Talking Heads and Close Encounters of the Third Kind." --Entertainment Weekly "The Must List"

"With its groovy, goofy odes to BMX bikes, computer camp, and of course, l-o-v-e, Datarock Datarock is the perfect accompaniment for the beach, the back seat, and the dance floor."
--SF Weekly

"...the album is an electronic retro dance-a-thon replete with keyboard blips and funky basslines."
--Billboard

"Consider our circuits blown."
--Rolling Stone "Hot List"

"The band behind "Computer Camp Love" really earns its pocket protectors... In being so gleefully self-unaware about their geekdom, Datarock connects with the nerd in all of us."
--Big Shot
