Starz - Genocide
This film won an Academy Award for Best Documentary, Features (1982) and is narrated by Elizabeth Taylor and Orson Welles. Others in the documentary include Simon Wiesenthal and archived footage of Winston Churchill, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Adolf Hitler, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Josef Goebbels and Charles de Gaulle. Airs October 1 at 4:00 p.m. Genocide is also set to run on Encore Drama on October 6 at 5:45 a.m. and on October 22 at 7:35 a.m.
I Have Never Forgotten You The Life and Legacy of Simon Wiesenthal airs Tuesday, October 1 at 5:30 p.m. narrated by Academy Award-winning actress Nicole Kidman, is a comprehensive look at the life and legacy of humanitarian Simon Wiesenthal. It features previously unseen archival film and photos, as well as interviews with Wiesenthal's longtime associates, government leaders from around the world, friends and family members. Those appearing in the documentary include Simon Wiesenthal, Frederick Forsyth, Marvin Hier, and Ben Kingsley (2007 original release date). I Have Never Forgotten You: The Life and Legacy of Simon Wiesenthal is also set to run on Starz Cinema on October 19 at 12:35 p.m. and on October 28 at 2:30 p.m.
Liberation airs Tuesday, October 1 at 7:20 p.m. and is narrated by Whoopi Goldberg, Jean Boht, Sir Ben Kingsley, Miriam Margolyes and Patrick Stewart (1994 original release date). Liberation is also set to run on Encore Drama on October 15 at 5:45 a.m. and on October 19 at 2:05 p.m.
The Long Way Home airs Tuesday, October 1 at 9:00 p.m. The film won an Academy Award for Best Documentary, Features (1998) and is narrated by actor Morgan Freeman. The Long Way Home chronicles the experiences of Jewish Holocaust survivors who were moved into Displaced Persons' camps after World War II, and eventually permitted to begin new lives in Israel and the U.S. Those in the documentary include Edward Asner, Martin Landau, Miriam Margolyes, David Paymer, Nina Siemaszko, and Michael York.
Unlikely Heroes airsTuesday, October 1 at 11:00 p.m. The film is narrated by Sir Ben Kingsley, highlights seven previously unknown stories of men and women involved in the Jewish resistance of the Holocaust, who exemplified extraordinary resistance, courage and human dignity during the most desperate days of the Holocaust (2003 original release date). Unlikely Heroes is also set to run on Starz Cinema on October 26 at 3:50 a.m.

CBS - College Football Today
CBS Sports has announced its college football game for Saturday, Oct. 3 (3:30-7:00 PM, ET) will feature No. 7-ranked LSU at No. 21-ranked Georgia. Verne Lundquist and Gary Danielson will call the contest, along with reporter Tracy Wolfson. College Football Today kicks off the day (3:00 PM, ET) with host Tim Brando and analyst Spencer Tillman. The game will be available in high definition.

Food Network - The Next Iron Chef - Kitchen Stadium once again opens its doors to find a new culinary warrior in the sizzling primetime series The Next Iron Chef. Hosted by Alton Brown (Good Eats, Iron Chef America), the reality competition premieres on Sunday, October 4th at 9pm ET/PT and will challenge ten top chefs from around the country in a series of demanding situations, testing their culinary skills and mental toughness.
Food Network Challenge - They say Rome wasn't built in a day but at Challenge, two teams of pastry chefs have just eight hours to create an entire city out of chocolate, sugar and cereal treats. The team that best captures the spirit of their chosen city will earn $10,000 and a gold medal. Premieres Sunday, October 4th at 8pm.

TLC - My Monkey Baby

Lifetime - Sherri - Actress, comedienne and co-host of ABC's The View, Sherri Shepherd will headline her own, all-new, multi-camera comedy series Sherri, premiering Monday, October 5, at 7PM ET/PT on Lifetime Television. Sherri will bow as part of a one-hour comedy block paired with the returning Rita Rocks, starring Nicole Sullivan, at 7:30PM ET/PT. Both series will feature stripped original episodes for a full week. Sherri will then move into its regular timeslot (Tuesdays, 10PM ET/PT), followed by Rita Rocks (Tuesdays, 10:30PM ET/PT).

Travel Channel - Madventures

PBS - Darwin's Darkest Hour is National Geographic's first scripted drama. The drama unfolds over the course of roughly two weeks in June and early July of 1858. During this time, Darwin's world seems to disintegrate: His life's work, what he called "his abominable volume," is in danger of being scooped by an unknown; at the same time, one of his children is stricken by scarlet fever and one with diphtheria. Darwin is reeling, with his career and home in tumult. Never before has a more personal or more accurate account of Darwin's life at this critical juncture been explored. Airs October 6 on NOVA.

Discovery Channel - Dirty Jobs

The film tells the story of Madison Penrose (Juliana Guill), a spoiled and beautiful high school queen bee, and Skye Rotter (Lauren McKnight), the class outcast whose father Charlie Rotter committed a series of grisly murders a decade before the movie's events. Travel Channel - Ghost Adventures Live will mark the first seven-hour, paranormal investigation conducted by the Ghost Adventures crew. The team will investigate the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum in West Virginia, said to be one of America's most haunted locations, to examine ghostly activity and record their experiences. This live event will be completely interactive. Viewers at home will have total access to the investigation via webcams and online chats with the crew. During the seven-hour lockdown, viewers will also be invited to send e-mails, text messages, IMs and faxes to Zak, Nick, and Aaron, sharing what they see and offering advice on what they should do next. Premieres October 30, 2009 from 8PM to 3AM.
