Z Rock

Rock band by night. Kids band by day.

Z ROCK is a comedy series that follows three friends leading a double life: by night they're a hard-partying rock band and by day they're a kids party band. Z ROCK is (kinda) based on the true story of the band Z02 (brothers Paulie Z and David Z, and lifelong friend Joey Cassata) and gives a satirical look at the dark underbelly of the rock n' roll dream.

Paulie (vocals), David (bass guitar), and Joey (drums) are average, Brooklyn born-and-bred neighborhood guys doing what it takes to avoid menial jobs to pay the rent. By day, they re-invent themselves as Z Brothers: THE band to book in New York City - if you want your trust-fund five-year-old to be the envy of every blue blood in school.

Season 2 highlights include guest appearances by comedic icon Joan Rivers; comedians Jim Norton, Godfrey, Greg Giraldo, Jeff Ross, Patrice Oneal, Kurt Metzger, and Joe Matarese; musicians Daryl Hall (Hall & Oates), Dave Navarro (Jane's Addiction), John Popper (Blues Traveler), Marky Ramone (The Ramones), Constantine Maroulis (American Idol and Broadway's "Rock of Ages"), Dee Snider (Twisted Sister), J.J. French (Twisted Sister), Frank Stallone, and Mini-Kiss; former professional football player Warren Sapp; sportscaster Bonnie Bernstein (ESPN); celebrity chef and personality Betheny Frankel (Real Housewives of New York); radio producer Gary Dell'Abate (Howard Stern Show); music executive Jason Flom (Lava); heavy metal disc jockey Eddie Trunk (Q104.3); and personality Julissa Bermudez (BET). Series regulars include comedians Lynne Koplitz (playing Dina, the band's manager) and Jay Oakerson (playing club owner Neil).

IFC gives you a backstage pass to the band's struggle to become rock royalty while coping with the realities of everyday life, such as accepting gigs they'd rather turn down, dealing with an emotional club owner -- and an even more emotional manager, surviving jail, "handling" groupies... and most importantly, avoiding their angry husbands! Like the true rock gods they aspire to become, the band mixes it up with everyone from powerful record producers, to legendary wrestlers, to midget cover bands with hilarious, and often cringe-worthy, results.

Steel Panther will be featured as the arch rivals in a Battle of the Bands on the Z ROCK comedy series that follows three friends leading a double life: by night they're a hard-partying rock band and by day they're a kids party band. Z ROCK is (kinda) based on the true story of the band Z02 (brothers Paulie Z and David Z, and lifelong friend Joey Cassata) and gives a satirical look at the dark underbelly of the rock n' roll dream.

Z ROCK airs Sunday at 11pm EST on IFC with repeats Tuesday at 10pm and Saturday at 7pm! For more information on the show visit www.ifc.com/zrock and for the most up-to-date news on Steel Panther head over to www.SteelPantherRocks.com!

New World Order

From the award winning filmmakers of DARKON (SXSW Audience Award 2006) comes New World Order, a feature length documentary about conspiracy theorists directed by Luke Meyer and Andrew Neel. The film is a behind the scenes look at the underground movement of people who want to expose "global elitists," whom they claim are covertly masterminding a series of destructive events to cause a mass breakdown of the world's economy and society. Once the world has fallen into chaos, these same "elitists" will offer a plan to rebuild the economic and social structure of the world (to their liking). This theory is also known as the New World Order.

The film captures this growing anti-New World Order movement as it targets the annual Bilderberg conference, and the 9/11 attacks as focal points in the alleged global conspiracy. Alex Jones, a celebrity radio host, and underground cult hero, is the central character of the film. The film chronicles Alex and four other conspiracy theorists on their ceaseless quest to expose the "massive global conspiracy" they believe threatens the future of humanity.

New World Order is a film about people who believe in conspiracy theories and why they believe in them, not about the theories themselves. This film does not try to prove or disprove conspiracy theories. At its core, New World Order is a film about the power of ideas, and the power of ideas to change one's life and define one's actions.
