Tru TV
truTV is television's destination for real-life stories told from an exciting and dramatic first-person perspective. Currently seen in 91 million U.S. households, the 17-year-old network enjoyed its best deliveries ever in key demographics in 2008. truTV features high-stakes, action-packed originals that give viewers access to places and situations they can’t normally experience. truTV's primetime fan favorites include the original series The Smoking Gun Presents: World's Dumbest..., Black Gold, Speeders, Forensic Files and Dominick Dunne's Power, Privilege and Justice. During the daytime, the channel features expert trial coverage under the name In Session.

Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura

Former wrestler and politician Jesse Ventura sets out to uncover the truth behind the most compelling modern day conspiracy theories. In this new one-hour truTV series, he will travel across the country investigating cases from the perspective of both conspiracy believers and skeptics. Ventura is executive-producing the series along with A. Smith & Co.'s Arthur Smith, Kent Weed and Frank Sinton, as well as Michael Braverman and Barry Bloom of the Braverman/Bloom Co.

About Jessie Ventura:

Jesse Ventura was born in 1951 in Minneapolis. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, where he joined special forces and served as a UDT/SEAL from 1969 to 1973. After being honorably discharged from the Navy, he returned to Minnesota and, while attending community college, started training to become a professional wrestler.

Ventura began his successful professional wrestling career in 1975. In the early to mid '80s, he moved from performing in the ring to color commentator.

In 1987, Ventura starred alongside fellow future governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in the hit film Predator. He has gone on to be featured in numerous films and television shows, including a fan-favorite appearance on The X-Files playing a "Man in Black."

The 1990s saw Ventura enter the political arena, serving Mayor of Brooklyn Park, Minn., and in 1998 as Governor of Minnesota. After he left office, Ventura was a visiting fellow at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government. He is a New York Times best-selling author of four books and currently resides in Minnesota and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Full Throttle Saloon

The Throttle is the "World's Largest Biker Bar," a 30-acre enormous indoor/outdoor bar with several large stages, a burn-out pit, a tattoo parlor, zip lines, a wrestling ring, restaurants, dozens of stores, hundreds of cabins for rent and parking for thousands of bikes. Because it is only open two weeks a year during the infamous rally, owner Michael Ballard and his team have to pull in a year's worth of receipts in these two wild weeks. He gambles that the country’s most beautiful bartenders and biggest music acts will bring in the thousands of patrons he needs to make his number.

This year, Michael can add the recession to his list of unpredictable factors, which also include weather, biker gangs, the egos of some of the country's biggest musical acts, and local law enforcement. All these gambles pile the stress on the team, but they must hold it all together for two weeks, or the Full Throttle Saloon could go bust.

All Worked Up

This new series follows a collection of tough-minded workers whose jobs often force them to face extreme conflict. From repossessors and process servers to code enforcers and security guards, these hard-working folks get yelled at, spit on and sometimes even assaulted...and that can happen before their first coffee break. No matter how outrageous the situation or ridiculous the encounter, these professionals have been there, done that and lived to tell about it.

Among the recurring characters who will appear throughout the series, the opening episodes feature repossessors Ron and Amy Shirley of Lizard Lick Towing in Wendell, N.C.; process server Byran McElderry in New York City; and Frank Cassidy, code enforcer in Cape Coral, Fla.

Top 20 Most Shocking

Ever wonder what is the best caught on tape moment out of extreme college pranks, harrowing escapes from death, and brainless stunts? truTV sets out to answer that question with its newest original series: Top 20 Most Shocking. Building on the success of truTV's pulse-pounding hit series Most Shocking, this new series ups the stakes, introducing a weekly countdown of the 20 best, all new, caught-on-tape moments that will leave no jaw un-dropped.

From "Women Out of Control" to "Whackos at the Wheel," each hour-long episode of Top 20 Most Shocking showcases a unique theme, by combining more than 20 clips with dramatic firsthand accounts, all working their way to claim the top spot in the countdown. The premiere episode will spotlight "Good Times Gone Bad," with subsequent episodes featuring such crowd-pleasing themes as "Practical Jokers Gone Wild," "Brainless Blunders" and "Hotheads from Hell."

Speeders Fight Back

Traffic court elicits some of the most amusing collection of excuses from violators than any other courtroom. These amusing stories are caught on Speeders Fight Back. The show, which is an expansion of the series Speeders, details the fascinating and often hilarious things people say and do in court in attempt to get out of tickets.

Watch emotional motorists use crazy defenses and outrageous alibis as they face off in court against the police officers who caught them violating road rules. Speeding drivers take their fight - and their bizarre excuses - to Judge David Heilmann, who flexes double authority as both a newly appointed judge and mayor of Oak Lawn, Ill. His unconventional ways of enforcing the law and his witty humor bring a fresh face to the second season of the series.

This is Judge Heilmann's second term as the Mayor of Oak Lawn. A devoted family man, he has a passion for traffic safety. His background in theatre has helped him introduce a comedic take on enforcing traffic laws. Last year, his humorous stop signs posted through the Oak Lawn Community gained national attention for saying such things as "Stop and Smell the Roses" and "Stop, Not Pause."

Conspiracy Theory

He has taken on some of the most dangerous missions in the world as a Navy SEAL. He has body-slammed giants in the wrestling ring as a WWE superstar. He has even gotten involved in politics as the governor of Minnesota. Now, Jesse Ventura is about to face his greatest challenge yet: uncovering the most compelling plots and schemes in truTV's exciting new series Conspiracy Theory With Jesse Ventura.

Throughout his various careers, Ventura has maintained his reputation as a rebel and free-thinker. He is passionate about the world of conspiracy theories and holds non-traditional opinions on many of them. He has no qualms about questioning authority and seeking truth. No matter how dangerous, who is involved or what is uncovered, Ventura will hunt down answers, plunging viewers into a world of secret meetings, midnight surveillance, shifty characters and dark forces.

As Ventura puts it, "I've been a mayor. I've been a governor. Now, I get to be a detective and seek the truth."

Rehab: Party at the Hard Rock Hotel

Party at the Hard Rock Hotel gives viewers a behind the scenes look at the hottest party in the sexiest city. The second season of the series kicks off with the largest crowd the party has ever seen. Nearly 6,000 partiers enjoy the Vegas sun, but its not all fun. Conflict ensues as rowdy guests clash and staff members argue with management. In addition, this season there will be more competition from neighboring parties, increasing the pressure to keep sales going strong. And a new manager will try to make his mark with his hard-driving, tough-talking, unfiltered management style.

Viewers get to experience the world-famous pool party Rehab, a phenomenon that attracts thousands of the beautiful, trendsetting and rich-and-famous to Las Vegas every Sunday in the spring and summer. People come from around the globe and pay big money for a chance to attend this spectacular event that mixes the hottest bodies with the richest guests.

The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, creators of the Rehab brand and originators of the Vegas "daylife" scene, provides full, exclusive access for truTV's camera to capture the event itself, as well as the behind-the-scenes dynamics among management and staff.

This season brings Matt, a new general manager hired to head up the Rehab party. Coming from Queens, N.Y., he is a no-nonsense manager who will not tolerate slacking employees or out of control guests. Veteran Sharon, who serves as manager of event security, maintains order when chaos breaks out and diligently protects the staff. Deebo is a security officer who has seen it all, from passed-out partiers, to fights to people skipping out on their bills. Sultry cocktail waitress Julia is a hit with her customers as she flirts her way to big tips, while Matt tries to keep her from hanging out with coworkers instead of dealing with the clientele. Chantel is a skilled bartender who keeps the alcohol flowing and the guests content. Jessica bartends with Chantel and is using the money she makes to put herself through college. And Mallory is Matt's "ace in the hole," a superstar server who came with Matt from his former nightclub gig.

In addition to the staff and guests, celebrities flock to Rehab each Sunday as well, some to party poolside, while others are there to perform. Opening weekend kicked off with a performance by Snoop Dogg, while other musical guests are set to take the stage and entertain the guests throughout the season.

Black Gold
The stakes get higher for Texas oil rig workers as the economy contibues to struggle. Any mistake these guys make could cost not only their jobs, but their lives.

Last year during Black Gold's first season, competing oil crews put everything they could into erecting their rigs and successfully drilling crude before the other crews could get to it. This season, the series will follow the roughnecks of Rig 28, who have a seemingly impossible job. Assembled by oilman Autry Stephens, they have only 50 days to try to save the lease on a very valuable piece of land before it expires. In that time they must drill four, back-breaking holes. In the words of pipe salesman Rooster McConaughey, "It's never been done before."

With no room for error, each crew - the cocky daytime crew, led by Pee Wee, a hard-nosed driller who could sabotage the whole operation if he doesn't keep his anger in check; the partying evening crew, led by Ron, a man with no patience for slackers; and the scrappy relief crew, led by Oscar, a driller whose idea of fun just might push his crew over the edge - must work through the conflict within their crews, the dangerous equipment and the pressures of their families to save the land and keep their jobs.

Returning to the series is former driller Gerald, who has been working on rigs for decades and has the scars to prove it. He's broken his back falling 10 stories out of the derrick and lost part of his thumb and one of his toes in two separate accidents with drill pipe.

The series also features pipe salesman Rooster, whose real name is Michael Patrick McConaughey. Rooster owns a company called DGM Pipe (named for his ex-wife), which supplies pipe to the rigs. When the oil business was going through a bust, he lost everything and renamed his company Chapter 11 Pipe, but people in town told him that was too depressing. He named his second son Miller Lyte after his favorite beer. He is Matthew McConaughey's brother, with whom he acted in the movie The Newton Boys.

Stephens is a local legend who owns the 10th largest producing company of Texas oil. He has more than 4,000 wells producing approximately $1.5 million of oil every day. From his exploration and production efforts, Stephens has branched out into virtually all facets of production, from drilling to well servicing, roustabouts to welding, plugging to gas gathering and water disposal to crude oil and bulk transportation.

Operation Repo
Take a look inside the fast-paced, high-pressure world of car repossession with a team of highly-trained professionals from California's San Fernando Valley. No matter how angry you get, they're taking back your car.
Smoking Gun
Stupid has never been funnier. Stars such as Danny Bonaduce, Leif Garrett, Judy Gold, Chuck Nice, Tonya Harding and Natalie Desselle entertain as they show footage and make hilarious commentary about the world's dumbest criminals, drivers, fans, daredevils, competitions and partiers. You'll see brainless bad guys, moronic motorists, senseless sports, ridiculous risk-takers and more.
