Oldies Pre-Beatles, Pre-Motown Oldies
|
|
Like all Pop Culture Madness music charts, thislist is
a reflection of the most requested songs in our network
of disc-jockies and YOUR e-mailed suggestions.
This list is of songs that were popular before the Beatles,
and some songs after that continued in that old school 50's
style. There was a time when Chuck Berry, Lee Andrews, Bill
Haley and even Elvis Presley topped this list. Although
primarily rockers, a few songs from the contemporary pop
standards era have cracked this list.
REMEMBER - we update the oldies charts every year - it's
not a list of the "greatest" music - it's a list
of the most requested.
