14th's Puzzle
|
| Usual story, 3 guys go out
to dinner...
After the meal, they are given the bill which totals $30.
The waiter takes $10 of each of them and heads for the counter.
Upon reviewing the bill, the waiter realizes that he has
over charged them for the meal by $5. The waiter returns
and as that $5 will not equally split into 3 guys, he gives
them each $1 and keeps $2 for himself...
This means that each gentleman only paid $9 for the meal,
totaling $27,
plus the $2 the waiter keeps is only $29...
Where did the extra $1 go?

14th's Observations
|
|
It's easier to fight for one's principles than to live
up to them.
We have all heard that a million monkeys banging on a million
typewriters will eventually reproduce the entire works of
Shakespeare. Now, thanks to Pop Culture Madness, we know
this is true.
