after the Roman goddess Juno. Juno was the Roman
goddess for love and marraige, and that is why so
many weddings tradionally take place in June, you
heathen infidel! June is the sixth month of the
year in the Gregorian calendar. Julius Ceasar named
this month in 46 B.C.
Father's Day is celebrated in the United States
on the third Sunday in June. |
