(August 1, 2008) - PCM's staff writer Julie Kissane had the pleasure of interviewing emerging artist Ian Walsh with his drummer Cam Tyler before their show at Deer Park Tavern in Newark, DE. We sat outside the venue just as the sun was going down and talked about their music, playing shows and even some misconceptions about the band. They were certainly very enjoyable and down to earth. Their show was received well at Deer Park, they were invited to play as part of a local summer series in Delaware! The guys are amazing for just two people up there on stage. Walsh is a seriously talented guitarist. They sound just as good live as they do on their album and that's always such a relief to experience. A true artist sounds great both ways!

Ian Walsh's new album, Please Remember, has received positive feedback and he's gaining quite a following of fans! We think he's a major buzzworthy artist that deserves some attention. Ian Walsh also played at Unicity Festival in Middletown, DE the next day, we covered that event, so stay tuned for more coverage from that! PCM has our own page on Ian and a review of his CD.
