All
Smiles for Angie and Zahara
Zahara Jolie-Pitt was seen with a bright,
big smile while being carried by mom earlier this morning.
Angelina Jolie and her daughter, affectionately known as
"Z," were dropping off her big brother at school
in New York City. We've been seeing a lot of smiling from
little Zahara lately. Maybe they are one big happy family
despite all the media speculation. Phew! She could be
a normal child after all!
Brad accuses Angelina of not loving
Shiloh
We should have seen this story coming months ago when she
called the kid a blog, but it looks like it's actually true
that Angelina Jolie just doesn't like Shiloh. Life
and Style Weekly is reporting that the adoption happy
Jolie, while providing orphaned children all over the world
with a good home, she may be leaving little Shiloh out
in the cold.
Angie, 31, is certainly praiseworthy for these things. But
at home with her partner, Brad Pitt, 43, the nurturing
that Angie gives to her adopted kids, Maddox, 5, Pax, 3
and Zahara, 2, comes at the expense of the couple's biological
child, Shiloh, 10 months, insiders say."Angie doesn'’t
change Shiloh's diapers or hold her when she cries,"
one insider tells Life & Style. "One time Shiloh
was having a tantrum and Angie just told Brad to quiet her
down because she was upsetting the other kids."
According to Life & Style, Brad got so fed up that he
packed a bag and ditched Angie and the rest of the brood
to stay in their Los Feliz home while Angie stayed in the
Hollywood Hills.
Brad's rep denies that Angie shows preferential treatment.
But in Life & Style’s cover story this week, multiple
insiders say that she and Brad are at odds because Angelina
shuns Shiloh — and have fought over it to the point of Brad's
accusing her of not loving the baby.
Angelina gets called out!
Ok so you all know that Angelina Jolie is not my
favorite person in the world, I don't know why she just
annoys me. So I was tickled to see the new Us Weekly
that features Ange on the cover along with headlines like
- Her broken promise to be a stay at home mom, - Secret
fights with Brad over Pax's adoption, and - How she uses
her kids to manipulate the media!.
These are some pretty scathing allegations and I love every
second of it. I mean it all kind of makes sense, here's
why:
She recently announced, to much fanfare, that she would
be a stay-at-home mom. "I will stay at home to help
Pax adjust to his new life," Jolie told the Ho Chi
Minh City Law newspaper on March 16. "I have four
children and caring for them is the most important thing
for the moment." So it came as a surprise four days
later when Variety reported that the Oscar winner had signed
up to play an assassin in Wanted, which is set to begin
shooting in April in Prague. Even more bewildering was Jolie,
31, showing up in Chicago on March 23 for screen tests on
Wanted.
The fact that Jolie was anywhere but at home with her family
was odd. Just eight days earlier, the actress had picked
up her newly adopted son, Pax, from a Vietnam orphanage.
But, despite what she told the Vietnamese newspaper,
the mother-of-four does not appear to be slowing down any
time soon. She's also slated to star in Atlas Shrugged
and The Changeling, which is preparing a fall start.
That's not the only about-face Jolie has made recently.
The day Jolie picked up Pax at the orphanage, where paparazzi
swarmed, she said, "Photographs make him upset. I'm
sorry for bringing this into his life."
And yet, just days after picking up Pax, Jolie staged
photos of herself, Zahara, Maddox and Pax and sold them
to the U.K.'s Hello! magazine and People magazine.
Angelina's making the rest of us look
bad one adoption at a time
UPDATE: Well it looks
like her days as a stay-at-home mom are numbered. Despite
Angelina Jolie's claims that she will be staying home to
help new some Pax adjust to life as a member of America's
royal family, she has reportedly taken a job that will have
her working as early as May. Variety is reporting
that Angelina Jolie is scheduled to begin work overseas
on a new film in May. Jolie will play a killer in the
action thriller Wanted, which will shoot in Eastern
Europe and co-star Morgan Freeman and James McAvoy.
As I'm sure you've all heard, the Jolie-Pitt clan just
got a little bigger. Ange and the adorable Maddox flew
to Vietnam over the weekend to officially adopt the newest
member of their family, Pax Thien ("Peaceful
Sky"). Because of adoption laws in Vietnam, Angelina's
is the only name that appears on the official paperwork.
Angelina had this to say of her plans for the immediate
future: "I will stay at home to help Pax adjust to
his new life. I have four children and caring for them is
the most important thing for me at the moment. I am very
proud and happy to be their mother."
Pax and his new mommy arrived in Hanoi on Monday to complete
the procedures necessary to take him to America. Jolie is
expected to meet with U.S. Embassy officials on Tuesday
to apply for a visa for her new son. Once the visa is issued,
she can take him to the United States.
We bet papa Pitt is anxiously awaiting their return, along
with every paparazzi in the country!
