Highlighting the artistry and influence of a folk icon, the documentary Pete Seeger: The Power of Song will be debuting on DVD- the latest title in The Miriam Collection from Genius Products and The Weinstein Company.

Pete Seeger: The Power of Song is a close examination of the life of this misunderstood storyteller and the impression he left on American pop culture and the folk artists that followed him. More than a documentary, director and BAFTA Award nominee Jim Brown (The Weavers: Wasn’t That a Time) honors the singer, his music and his involvement as a social activist through an honest lense.

Pete Seeger: The Power of Song includes bonus features such as interviews from Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Arlo Guthrie, Peter, Paul & Mary and the inconvenient artist himself, Pete Seeger along with never-before-seen archival footage and Seeger’s personal home movies.
