OSS: 117 - Nest of Spies
by: Sean
Sophisticatedly dimwitted espionage is the name of the game in the soon to be French comedy classic OSS: 117. The genre pays homage to classic spy movies and especially the spy's spy, Sir Sean Connery's James Bond. (More)

The Babysitters

by: Kristyn
In this film Shirley (Katherine Waterson), a studious high-school girl develops a crush on baby-sitting client Michael played by John Leguizamo. After eventually sleeping with Michael and receiving a generous tip, she then comes up with the idea to start a baby-sitting prostitution ring with a few of her friends.

The film portrays a dark-side to American suburbia, and will definitely make more than a few parents think twice the next time their daughter says she is going out on a "baby-sitting" job. I am not sure I agree with the films, however discreet depiction of high school girls engaged in sexual activity at such a young age, however director David Ross' debut definitely gives audiences something to ponder. Audiences will surely feel a bit dirty after watching the film and I am not sure I can view the film as anything more than a glorification of today's teen sex scandal obsessed culture.
