► Astronauts of Antiquity comes out with a new album titled Rocket Science. The album showcases AoA's eclecticism and their ability to bridge club and lounge music with dub, trance, electronica, jazzy neo-soul, while still retaining listener-friendly pop hooks and sensibility. You can hear it from the first notes of the album opener, "Everywhere," with its luscious, loungy vibe and India's powerful yet subtle vocals enveloping the track. It's present in "Beautiful Fate," where India's smoky, seductive vocals mingle with emotionally affecting lyrics and a hypnotic melody and rhythm track that brings to mind Kid A-era Radiohead.

►Like Feist, Ingrid Michaelson and Sarah Bareilles, Boh Runga is the
next singer-songwriter to keep your eyes on. Hugely popular outside the United States, Boh's songs are an eclectic mix of modern and classic pop influences. Boh's debut U.S. solo album Right Here
Pop Evil fans have spoken! The new single from the Michigan rockers Pop Evil is the hard and heavy "Breathe"! Fans were given the opportunity to vote for Pop Evil's newest single through a widget! The band is currently on tour with Judas Priest! You can hear "Breathe" on the band MySpace page!
► Kristina DeBarge will release her album in July. Her first single off the album, "Goodbye," is already a smash hit used for the Nivia commercial. The daughter of motown rocker James DeBarge, Kristina has always had a passion for music.
Tori Amos has announced her "Sinful Attraction Tour" in support of her tenth studio album Abnormally Attracted to Sin. The tour will launch this July in Seattle, with dates across the US. Known for her dynamic live performances and ever-changing set lists, Tori is one of the most active touring artists in the world, having played over 1,000 shows since her first world tour over a decade ago.
July 7th
► If you love Miley Cyrus get ready. Her 3rd album from the her hit Disney Channel series Hannah Montana will be released today. Hannah Montana duets from the show with David Archuleta and Corbin Bleu! It also features a song from Mitchel Musso. Listen now to the song "He Could Be The One" about the spark of new love! Jay Brannan to release In Living Cover today! The covers album will include tracks from The Verve Pipe, Bob Dylan, The Cranberries, Joni Mitchell and more!
The Donnas celebrate 16 impressive years of playing blissfully high-powered rock and roll, with their Greatest Hits, Vol 16. The all-female quartet's comprehensive album features two brand new songs, two never-before-heard b-sides from their self-released 2007 album Bitchin, live versions of hits "Take It Off" and "Fall Behind Me", and two previously unreleased tracks from the band's earliest days together. The band also re-recorded five tracks, remixed one and included two alternative versions of songs from their Lookout! Records catalog (1998-2001), one of which is sung by original producer/co-writer Darin Raffaelli
► Columbia Records is proud to announce the release of BLACKsummers'night, the heavily-anticipated new studio album from the groundbreaking modern soul artist Maxwell, on Tuesday, July 7. BLACKsummers'night is the sensuous opening installment of the artist's monumental BLACKSUMMERS'NIGHT trilogy. (The trilogy's subsequent chapters, blackSUMMERS'night and blacksummers'NIGHT, are slated for release in 2010 and 2011 respectively.)

► The debut album by Billy Boy on Poison, Drama Queen Junkie, is due out July 7 on Universal. They just went to radio with their single 'On My Way' - a straight up rock n roll song.

July 14th
Sick Puppies will unleash Tri-Polar on the world today, July 14th. In anticipation of the release, the band is streaming the album in its entirety for fans on AOL. Tri-Polar features single, "You're Going Down," which served as the theme for WWE's Extreme Rules and is currently Top 20 at both Active and Modern Rock
Adelitas Way Las Vegas based quintet Adelitas Way will release their self-titled debut album on July 14th. The album. produced by the Grammy-nominated Johnny K (Disturbed, 3 Doors Down, Black Tide), features a slew of heartfelt, radio-ready rock tracks. The first single, "Invincible" which epitomizes the feel of a rock anthem has been chosen by the WWE as theme song to their show, "Superstars" which airs weekly on WGN.

► The Scene Aesthetic started as a jam scession between Eric Bowley and Andrew de Torres and turned into a success story with the recording of their single "Beauty in the Breakdown."With their upcoming album, A Type And A Shadow scheduled for release on July 14th fans everywhere are anxious to see what these boys are going to do next.

The band is back with their new album titled The Satantic Satanist due to hit stores today! Here's what keyboardist Ryan Neighbors has to say about the release: "The songs all just kind of work together"."They all have that Portugal sound even though the ideas themselves can be drastically different. It's all still Portuguese."
July 28th
► Fans of ethereal pop and artists such as Sarah, McLachlan, Enya, and Sarah Brightman should take notice of Blue Stone. The Florida based act will have their new album, Messages, released on July 28th. The collection's first single, the soothing yet pulsating "Wait for the Sun," will also be released shortly. Blue Stone is an electronic-pop musical project formed by producer/programmer Robert Smith and producer/multi-instrumentalist Bill Walters. Musical interests from Pink Floyd, Jan Hammer, and William Orbit to Delerium, BT, and Afro Celt Sound System helped establish their collaborative efforts and invigorate fresh ideas. After 2 successful albums, Blue Stone are returning with Messages, which features memorable vocals from Sheyenne Rivers, Sara Bloomfield, and Samantha Sandlin.
► Renowned house DJ BAD BOY BILL will release his full-length debut THE ALBUM on July 28 (Nettwerk). The pulsing first single off THE ALBUM, "Falling Anthem" f/t Alyssa Palmer, has hit #17 on the Billboard Dance Chart and continues to climb.
- Adam: Nettwerk Music Group will release the official motion picture soundtrack to the upcoming romantic comedy Adam on July 28; the award winning film opens on July 29.

► Nettwerk Music Group is proud to announce the signing of Australian rock n rollers HOWLING BELLS. The breakout group is set to release their sophomore album and N. American debut RADIO WARS on July 28th in the US and Canada, with their smoldering first single "Cities Burning Down"( video here) out June 2nd on iTunes. They'll celebrate early by joining COLDPLAY on their North American tour this May and June.
