October 6th
Alternative rockers Taking Back Sunday release their latest album Live From Bamboozle '09. This album captures the band playing to a crowd of over 30k fans at the 2009 Bamboozle Festival. Taking Back Sunday is on tour this fall with the All-American Rejects.
Keytar-wielding synth-pop sensation LIGHTS is starring in Audio Quest: A Captain LIGHTS Adventure. The short-form motion comic series, which features the art of Marvel Comics artist Tomm Coker, premieres September 28, 2009 on-air during MTV's AMTV and online at MTV.com. LIGHTS' debut full-length album The Listening will be released in the US October 6, 2009.
Daryl Hall and John Oates have culminated their successful career with a boxed set complete with four discs of music, including sixteen previously unreleased tracks. The set is called Do What You Want, Be Who You Are: The Music of Daryl Hall and John Oates. Tracks off of the album include number one hits like "Rich Girl" and "Private Eyes."

Lita Ford, a hard-rocking metal chick, releases her newest album Wicked Wonderland. Heavy metal's high mistress Ford is feeling the success of her first single, "Crave" and anticipates a positive reaction from her loyal fans. Ford is on tour this fall with Queensrÿche.
Bad Lieutenant, the project formed in 2007 by New Order's Bernard Sumner (guitar, vocals) and Phil Cunningham (guitar), along with Jake Evans (guitar, vocals), will see the long-awaited North American release of their debut album, Never Cry Another Tear, on October 6 on their own Triple Echo Records imprint. Initially and for a one week period, the album will be available as a digital download exclusively through Amazon.com; subsequently, for one month beginning October 13, the full, physical CD can be purchased only at Amazon.com. On November 10, Never Cry Another Tear will be distributed to all other retail outlets via a partnership with Original Signal Recordings.

In addition, "Sink or Swim," the first single from Never Cry Another Tear, is now available as a free download for a limited amount of time on Bad Lieutenant's website. "Sink or Swim," along with the new track "Dynamo," will be released as a single on September 28 via digital retailers.

New signings for Fearless Records, blessthefall release their much-anticipated new album Witness on October 6th, 2009. The Phoenix, AZ's first full-length since the release of their hit album His Last Walk two years ago, Witness was recorded with Michael "Elvis" Baskette (Incubus, Story Of The Year, Shadows Fall) and is their first with new frontman Beau Bokan (formerly of Take The Crown). The band has just completed a U.S. run with August Burns Red and will be heading out on their first South American tour this week. On Ocktober 6th Steel Panther will release Feel The Steel the culmination of a glam metal revival suited perfectly for 2009! Feel The Steel, produced by Jay Ruston, features "Death To All But Metal" and "Community Property" and will mark the major label debut from the spandex-clad quartet. The album will hit fans on September 29 via iTunes before finding its way to store shelves nationally on October 6. Michael Buble, popular big band singer-songwriter who has sold over 22 million records worldwide, is about to release his 4th studio album Crazy Love. He'll also be appearing on Oprah during the week of his street date, which is October 9th.
October 13th
Pop-punk rockers The Summer Set's debut full length album, Love Like This, will hit stores on October 13th and the catchy first single, "Chelsea" is available on iTunes now!

Brothers and sisters sound the siren, the long-awaited return of Wolfmother is well and truly upon us. It is official, the transcendental dreamweavers will return with a wonderfully ambitious new record, Cosmic Egg, scheduled for release on October 13th.
October 20th
Tim McGraw is ready to release his first studio album in over two and a half years, Southern Voice. Southern Voice was recorded with his longtime producer, Byron Gallimore. The album is available October 20th.
Pop-punk favorites Cartel are set to release their third album, Cycles, on October 20th. This Georgia based rock group hopes to follow up on the success of their last album, Cartel, released in 2007.
NYC singer-songwriter Tim Williams is poised to release his sophomore album, Careful Love, digitally on October 20, 2009 via Dovecote Records.

October 26th
Taylor Swift released her Fearless Platinum Edition Album! The album features some new songs, new versions of songs off the last album, as well as some behind the scenes videos and music videos. She also just released her music video for "Fifteen"!

Orianthi, a sensational Austrailian guitarist, releases her debut album, Believe. Orianthi was selected by Michael Jackson to play on his come back tour. Due to his passing, now she is featured heavily in the upcoming documentary This Is It. Orianthi has worked with music legends Carlos Santana, ZZ Top, and Carrie Underwood.

Exciting news for fans of Orianthi! To coordinate with the release of the This Is It soundtrack, Geffen is pushing up the release of her debut album Believe one day earlier, to October 26th. October 27th
The Red Chord releases their fourth studio album off of Metal Blade Records, Fed Through The Teeth Machine.
