After an explosion of sell-out concerts, Blue Man Group
How To Be A Megastar Tour 2.1. world tour has been captured
by Rhino Records on a combo DVD/CD, entitled How to be
a Megastar Live! This two-disc collection contains as
bonus features: 5.1 Surround Sound, the video for "I
Feel Love," the comedic parody "Mono Makes a
Plea Save the TVs" campaign and the documentary Inside
the Tube, which provides an intimate look inside Blue
Man Group's creative process and history.
Blue Man Group How To Be A Megastar Tour is a live rock
show that takes the audience through a satirical "workshop"
on how to create "the perfect rock concert experience."
In the process, they celebrate, skewer and otherwise deconstruct
rock stardom in all of its narcissistic glory. The Blue
Men download a new "how-to manual" that takes
the audience through a uniquely clever and interactive
show that guarantees to deliver hypnotic entertainment
for all ages. With more than 60 dates left on the current
tour, Blue Man Group has already sold nearly 1 million
tickets in North America alone. The double disc DVD/CD
was filmed in front of sold-out crowds of over 40,000
fans during a two-day run at the American Airlines Center
in Dallas, TX. Six cameras were on hand to capture the
music, the lights, the comedy and the exuberance that
is Blue Man Group!
