Live Performance Review:
I recently had the incredible opportunity to not only interview members of Blue Sinatra, but I was able to catch one of their live performances at Grape Street Pub in Philadelphia. I have to start off by saying that I was absolutely floored by the talent in this band. It is not often that you see a band with five members, each bringing their own unique style and talent to the stage. They truly make it work, and that already puts them one step ahead of the game.
Their overall performance was high-energy and incredibly vivacious, and that energy could be felt throughout the entire venue. My personal highlights from the night were "Pushing Dominoes" and a cover of The Beatles tune "Getting Better". This band is definitely one to watch out for in the future, so clear the way. With so much talent and energy, this band is going to go places and throw the music world for real loop. Get ready to groove!

About the Band:

Blue Sinatra was formed in 2002 by long time friends, Greg Harrigan (singer, emcee, keyboards, guitar, and principal songwriter) and drummer, Mike Garth. They were joined shortly thereafter by Philadelphia veteran bassist, Fran "Cisco" McCloskey. Last year, they added sax player, Steve Bickel, formerly of 80Proof Soul, and brought on talented guitarist Charlie Ortiz. Both brought their dynamic live show to a new level. The independent release, Move, demonstrates their diversity as it includes live cuts, new studio tracks and several guest appearances from other Philadelphia and New York City bands. They are now working on new tracks.
