About the Album:

Erika Jayne has debuted the video for her song "Stars'' on the LOGO network. The smash hit has already reached #1 on both Billboard's Club Play chart and Dance Radio Airplay chart. The provocative clip, directed by video auteur Scott Speer (Will.I.am, The Veronicas, Paris Hilton, Brandi Carlile), shows off the magnetic presence Jayne has become known for during her recent spate of live shows around the U.S.

"Stars" has taken Jayne's career to a whole new level. The song's overwhelming successes signals that the singer, having conquered the clubs and dance radio, is ready to infiltrate pop radio. The song has been amassing airplay around the country, building impressive momentum week by week, and currently resides at #38*on R&R's Top 40 Indicator Chart. Two commercial singles and the music video for "Stars" will be released next month. "Stars" is the follow-up to "Roller Coaster," also a #1 hit on the Billboard Dance chart. Both tracks were written and produced by Peter Rafelson and Eric Kupper.

"Stars" and "Roller Coaster" are included on Jayne's eagerly-awaited debut album PRETTY MESS, which features tracks with contributions from Sheila E., who adds her legendary percussive talents and vocal on "Time to Realize." "Run Along" includes production work by Atlanta-based producer-artist Ike Dirty (Lil' Scrappy, Ying Yang Twinz). Others may know him as Isaac Hayes III, the son of entertainment trailblazer, Isaac Hayes. On the tracks "I Lose Myself" and "Love You Forever," esthero lends her studio talents under the production name, PINKLAKE, in collaboration with Jahi Lake (Chris Brown).

With the upcoming PRETTY MESS, the Atlanta-born Jayne has created a distinctive fusion of rhythmic pop, dance, and chill electronica ballads that is thoroughly modern yet ear-catchingly familiar. The album is produced by Peter Rafelson and mixed by Grammy-winning engineer Tony Maserati. Kupper also contributes mixes for album tracks "Pretty Mess" and "Beautiful."

Songs from PRETTY MESS, many of which Jayne co-wrote will be featured in several upcoming films. "Stars" can be heard in the comedy American Summer. "Roller Coaster" is featured in Deal, starring Burt Reynolds, as well as the horror flick Bumper. And album tracks "I Love Myself" and "Just a Phase" are featured in The Neighbor starring Matthew Modine.
