As
much as I wanted to not like this I couldn't help getting
swept away into the depth of its heavenly music and well-trained
spectacular dancers. The music created by John Tesh was
definitely not award winning, but was definitely suited
to the type of spectacle he was presenting.
The
music itself was a little overbearing and pretentious, but
some pieces like Two Worlds, Breakdown, and Shackles were
wonderful. The main reason to watch this DVD would be the
dancers. Every form from ballet, hip-hop, pop and lock,
street, modern, jazz, and more were performed with the grace
and power that one would expect from world class dancers.
Also, the dancer bio's and interviews are very well done
and a welcome part of the DVD.
Now,
the true purpose of this DVD is to display the multiple
facets of praise to The Lord, Our God, but don't let its
religious roots jade you. The performance is much more then
just that and the religious nature is very subtle and mostly
unnoticeable. The only annoying times occur when John Tesh
or other speakers interrupt the show to talk with the audience
about the shows purpose and meaning. All in all, I would
definitely say it was worth the time to see for the wonderful
dancing.
