Three classically trained siblings performing original alt-rock songs with a jazz influence and female vocals, an electric cello and violin, a keyboard, an electric bass and guitar, with electronic and acoustic drums lives. Start with rock n' roll, throw in jazz, world and a touch of classical, add catchy lyrics, grabbing melodies and full chords, and that's KChari - the Atlanta-based group with a style all its own.

"Out of Line" was recorded at Smith and Huston Productions over the course of a year and mastered at Rodney Mills' Masterhouse in Atlanta. Drums and bass were recorded at Creekside Station in Lawrenceville, GA. All songs are written and performed by the sibling trio - Joshua, Sarah and Miriam KChari. Atlanta music industry elitist Jan Smith executive produced the CD, and also provided pre-production assistance and vocal coaching. "You might not think an album would take one year to record," remarks Joshua KChari, "But this was also a learning experience for us as we highly valued Jan Smith and her music industry expertise, heeding her advice."
