Cult Following
Bluebrain's EP Cult Following is part electronic dance, part doom-ridden rock, and showcases the duo's ability to seamlessly blend both. Underlying futuristic synthesizer stabs is a storytelling equally fantastical, creating music that is serrated and fun. Tracks "Cult Following" and "Bring Out Your Dead" are available for download now here.
Band Bio
Although a new group, Bluebrain is hardly a first for the Holladay brothers. Under aliases, they've remixed artists such as Ra Ra Riot and The Death Set as well as performed live as past projects (most recently The Epochs) with Spank Rock, Lady Sovereign, The Walkmen, and The Violet Femmes. Now based in Washington DC, Bluebrain has already garnered regional praise for its electrifying, multimedia-accented live performances and will tour the US around the release of full-length album Soft Power in early 2010.
