The first single "Colder Blood" pairs the Jacka and Berner with up-and-coming artists J-Stalin, and Fam Skye. Summarizing the struggle and survival of life on the streets through the eyes of the artists, the video, directed by Razor, has already premiered on various hip-hop sites. Guest appearances on Drought Season 2 include appearances by Bay Area hip-hop artists including Messy Marv, Cellski, Mob Figaz, J-Stalin, as well as Akron, Ohio rapper Ampichino. Band Bio

SMC Recordings recording artists the Jacka and Berner release Drought Season 2, the latest installment by the Bay Area Rappers . Fresh off his west coast tour with Zion I, in support of his recent album, Tear Gas, the San Francisco Weekly-award winner the Jacka teams up with San Francisco rapper Berner for the follow up to their successful 2008 project, Drought Season. The project, which debuted at #25 (Rap) and #55 (R&B/Hip Hop) on Billboard Charts, was well-received by critics and fans alike.
