"Fractured Life" is the first album for
British band Air Traffic. The alternative band's album,
with a sound very similar to most groups out of the
UK, is extremely addicting. Their use of instruments,
specifically the piano, is enjoyable and sets the
apart. The intense use of the piano perfectly fits
with the vocals of lead singer, Chris Wall. Both his
vocal skill and piano performance are impressive.
Already with two big hits in the UK, Air Traffic
has the potential to become huge in America. "Charlotte"
which ironically concentrates more on guitar than
the rest of the album was a huge success in the UK
and has great possibility. Their versatility between
ballads like "No More Running Away" and
harder songs such as "Just Abuse Me" shows
they have great range and the potential to produce
more great music. Overall, the album is a great listen
and has the strength to become a huge hit.
