Those expecting the classic Alice Cooper malevolent
and close-to-the-bone creep-out won't be disappointed.
But the music, although well-played and well-recorded,
is too bright in tone color and straightforward,
so that the overall effect is lacking in the subtleties
and innuendoes of some of his older work. |
