Eternal Desecent takes the comic book to the next level. Despite the growing popularity of the Graphic Novel, Eternal Descent steps into the next realm giving the world the graphic opera. I warn you this is no Mozart or Puccini; this is opera for the comic book reader - an audio companion to the page.

The music is almost beyond classification. There are elements of industrial and metal, but this is totally beyond the constraints of rudimentary music. There is also a cinematic element to the whole thing - an almost dreamlike presence that exists between the page and the music.

The album moves linearly with the book's plot. It showcases the comic book, while giving life to the world that the pictures can only visually represent. Here we have the sounds that go with the sights, the audio emotion that accompany the images.

This is something entirely new. The entire album is completely in character. The band is not who they say they are, but rather an extension of the comic. The entire concept is highly complex and the music haunting when looking at the accompanying images.

In order to listen to this album you have to detach yourself from the concept of the band. The music is not the conception of a physical band, but exists somewhere outside of the comic independent of human conception.
