| Faber Drive - Seven Second

One thing I can say about the debut disc from Vancouver
based rock band Faber Drive is that it definitely
rocks. It seems these days it can be quite difficult
to find a good rock record, without a lot of fluff
or over- produced qualities. These guys pull it off
quite well, all of the songs on the disc have catchy
melodies and rhymically they are completely on point.
Looking at the disc from a lyric standpoint, the guys
touch on a variety of subjects such as " Sleepless
(Never Let Her Go)" which looks a domestic abuse
from a child's point of view and "You'll Make
It" that looks at the world's need for self-improvement.
The lyric quality is impressive for a debut disc and
it seems to be that the band should be able to hold
their own on the modern rock radio charts. I am definitely
hoping to hear much more out of this band in the years
to come.
