Review By Sean
Tight beats mixed with actual music. This album mixes
indie rock with trashy techno electronica. Imagine acoustic
guitar based lyrics and melodies on top of club dance
mixes. It's a cacophony that somehow functions.
The beats are of gothic electronic genre. Orchestral
instruments and high sound paired with romping beats
and whispering vocals - almost as though the lyrics
were a secret.
The album takes techno in a new direction by rock elements
to song structure. Instead of long repetitive loops
for countless minutes these songs have verses and refrains.
The electronica could be replaced with guitars making
a seamless switch to rock.

Review By Sean
There are two distinct sides to this album; the yin
and yang if you will. The negative energy radiates from
the remixed tracks from Disconnect and the positive
from the new recorded tracks.
Jes goes in a new direction with this album. Instead
of the dance-ready tracks of her last album this one
moves to a slower beat. Her newly recorded tracks carry
the same ambiance and groove of her previous work. Something
this positive cannot be said of the remixed tracks.
The remixes sound like an acid trip gone wrong. They
float out into no where with no hope of touching ground
ever again. There are no musical elements to these tracks.
They are an orgy of sounds with some lyrics that was
half a disc.
