The music is pretty straight forward and plain. There's
nothing too exciting about it or nothing too mundane.
It blends in with whatever you are doing - short and
minimalist. It doesn't really take and leaps or bounds,
but is concise and enjoyable.
The vocals and music seem balanced in a way that nothing
sounds off, but nothing really stands out to the ear
either. Not to say this album is in anyway boring, but
it's just another grain of sand in the endless desert.
I see no characteristics that make it stand out against
anything else, which can be a good thing. It doesn't
have the quality that catches your attention like a
red sports car gunning down the highway, or like an
old rusty beat up car on the side of the road that everyone
points and laughs at. This album is just another SUV
on the way to work. Trucking along in comfort just like
everybody else.
