Rachael Yamagata, who has hits like "Be Be Your Love," is out with a new single record in two parts. Yamagata had said that she didn't set out to make a two part album but it all came together to tell one big story. Her first single, "Elephants," is truly delicate and senstive. She has a lovely voice, but never really strains her vocals. She stays in the same range most of the album. It's sweet and dainty while making a statement. Her songs are very elegant and mellow, yet at the same time, very passionate and poignant.

Yamagata has come back strong and anyone who enjoys her music (which I'll admit, you need to be in the right and relaxed mood for) will not be disappointed with the songs on this new album. It's very comprehensive and the lyrics are deep and thought-provoking. I enjoyed her album!
