For us deprived rockers who cannot see them perform
live in the Southeastern United States, Rockets To Ruin
drops the bomb that is their debut album, "Love
* Drugs * Rebellion."
Produced by Rachel Bolan (Skid Row), Rockets To Ruin's
raw, uncompromising sound slaps conformity in the
face, reaching out to a generation lusting after the
glory days of rock n' roll. Their approach to songwriting
is loud, energetic, and fun, reminiscent of, but not
a copy of, the late 80's to early 90's sound of rock
This CD kicks of with a heavy beat that is well paced
and energetic. Driving guitar and moody vocals combine
to blast your ears from Track 1, and the CD rocks
to the very last song: raw, loud, and in your face.
The hard-rocking tunes beg for a repeat listen. Simply
put, this CD kicks a**.
My only complaint-I'd really like to hear a ballad.
Drop a few bucks on this CD-this one's a keeper.
