| Ryan Cabrera - The Moon

Ryan Cabrera is all grown up on his new CD, The Moon
Under Water. Before I start writing about the actual
music, let me just say that I love the cover of this
CD, it's so artistic! Good choice, Ryan! I'm not a
fan of the long hair look that Ryan's been rocking
these days, but it works with the sound of his newest
album. A little less teenager, a little more rock.
Traces of the old pop singer come through on this
album but overall, he really has found a mature sound
and the CD ain't too shabby. Some of the songs sound
similar to eachother after a while but each one is
clean and has some great melodies to hum along to.
A few of my favorites on the album were, "I Shoulda
Kissed You," and "In Between Lights."
I wasn't a fan of his single, "Say," though.
Don't think it really makes too much of a statement
or stands out as much as some of the other songs on
the CD.
