Review By Sean
Empowering girl music without nose piercings and
dismal angry feminist attitudes and garb? I didn't
know there was such a thing. The first time I listened
to this album I immediately dismissed it as another
frilly girl CD- a female attempt to prove her worth
among the acoustic troubadours.
Then I listened to it with my girlfriend. She really
liked the music that I was mistaking for white noise.
It was at that point I listened to the lyrics and
realized that what I was mistaking for meaningless
oscillating tones actually had something behind it.
There is wit and meaning in the lyrics, and when
you consider these elements this album becomes more
than pretty white noise. Based solely on the impersonal
acoustic sound, it will take some time to actually
take the album seriously, but give it a good listen
and you'll like it. If you're fed up with the emotional
light acoustic music, then don't listen to it, but
trust me- you're missing out.

Review By Jean
A beautiful day with the top down and the wind rushing
in your face is the complete summarization of "Something
to Me". "Another Country" is literally
pure sunshine radiating from your speakers. With the
beautiful melodies and harmonies created with 's voice,
you can't help but be happy. A little country and
a lot of acoustic is the perfect album to listen to
in your car. Before you realize it, you'll be singing
and tapping in traffic on the way to work.
