Country singer Jamey Johnson will be on GAC Nights On August 6th at 9pm. He will be performing and interviewed. Jamey is the co-writer of CMA and ACM 2007 Song of the Year "Give It Away," recorded by George Strait.

Nashville Star winner is... Melissa Lawson. Melissa will perform her new single What if it All Goes Right live at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing on August 12th. It will be aired on NBC's Today Show.

Beginning on August 4th, legendary band Foreigner will make stops in Los Angeles and New York to promote their national tour and new Greatest Hits album. The band will travel to New York, where they will perform live on NBC's Today Show on, August 6th. The band will wrap up their New York visit with a live performance on CBS' Early Show on Saturday, August 9th.

MTV has confirmed that comedian Russell Brand, best known for his hilarious performance in the films Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Penelope, will be hosting the 2008 Video Music Awards. The British import comes as a quite a suprising choice for this year's event.

Film icon Dennis Hopper has been set to star in "Crash," the first original drama series from Starz Entertainment, based on the Academy Award®-winning Best Picture. The premiere episode of the drama will debut on Starz in October.

MTV has announced the location for Real World season 21. The Crew is traveling from west coast to east coast as they plan to set up shop in Brooklyn New York. Production for the new hour long show will begin this summer.

Seth MacFarlane and crew have plans for a new show according to the New York Post. The Spin off series will star Cleveland Brown, a popular character from the successful animated sitcom "Family Guy."
