What Makes Pop Culture Madness Music Charts
Different from other Music Charts?

When doing our research, we have found, for example, that many more people are familiar with "Summer Wind" by Frank Sinatra than with "Winchester Cathedral" or "Poor Side Of Town", yet these two hits reached number one in 1966, while Frank only reached number 25 with "Summer Wind" that year.
"What I Like About You" by the Romantics and "Jamming" by Bob Marley are among the most requested songs of all time yet never reached the Billboard "Top 40" list.
The lists below, along with our annual (2008 and beyond) lists, strive to give our viewers a true list of songs that have outlasted the rest from their era. The music lists are always subject to change and are based on YOUR suggestions and requests. Depending on when you first came into this world, we feature the greatest and most remembered 200, 500, 1000, 2000, even 3000 songs since you were born, all listed by year!
There are many websites that rehash music that "was".
Pop Culture Madness' Pop Music lists are designed to show what music "still is".
