BEFORE THE CEREMONY

Generally, classical music is played, although there are many modern songs as well. These songs may easily be changed with the "during the ceremony" and "after the ceremony" musical numbers. It's the Bride's day, and she gets a bunch of discretion. In no particular order, here are a few suggestions:

Suite for Orchestra no 3 in D major
Johann Sebastian Bac

Forever In Love
Kenny G

 "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring"
Composer: Johann Sebastian Bach

Water Music Suite no 2 in D major,
George Frideric Handel

Water Music Suite no 1 in F major,
George Frideric Handel

"Bridal Chorus"
Richard Wagner

Canon and Gigue for 3 Violins and Basso Continuo in D major
Johann Pachelbel

Brandenburg Concerto no 2 in F major,  2nd movement
Johann Sebastian Bach

Symphony for Organ no 5 in f minor, Op. 42 no 1: 5th movement, Toccata
Charles-Marie Widor

L'enfance du Christ, Op. 25: Trio
Hector Berlioz

Songs (4) for Female Voices, 2 Hrn and Harp, Op. 17: no 1, Es tont ein voller Harfenklang
Johannes Brahms

Chorale Preludes (11) for Organ, Op. 122: no 8, Es ist ein Ros entsprungen
Johannes Brahms

DURING THE CEREMONY

Of course, this music is soft as well. Generally, instrumental versions are best, with the occasional soloist. You are free to choose any of the "Before The Ceremony Songs" as your tastes allow.

"Ave Maria"
Composer: Franz Schubert

Mass for 3 Voices, Organ, Harp, Cello and Double Bass in A, M 61/Op. 12: Panis angelicus
Cesar Franck

Because

Composer: Helen Guy d' Hardelot

West Side Story: One Hand, One Heart
Leonard Bernstein

Clair de Lune
Claude Debussy

AFTER THE CEREMONY

Fiddler on the Roof: Sunrise, Sunset
(Choose the style or version you prefer!)

Serse, HWV 40: Ombra mai fu "Largo"
George Frideric Handel

Symphony for Organ no 5 in f minor, Op. 42 no 1: 5th movement, Toccata
Charles-Marie Widor

Henry Purcell

The Toast of New Orleans: Be My Love
Nicholas Brodszky Salut d'aour Op. 12
Sir Edward Elgar Solomon, Arrival of the Queen of Sheba
George Fridreic Handel

The First Dance
This totally depends on your own musical tastes. It can be the first song you danced together to, the first you heard together, or even a song that best describes your relationship. It doesn't even have to be slow. As always, the Bride has total discretion, although, for this one, the Groom should have some say too!

Pop Culture Madness is your one-stop information location for Popular Culture, Popular Music, Trivia, Jokes and a bunch of other stuff! We update our Pop Culture News daily and our Pop Music section has hundreds of pages featuring the best and worst songs of all time. Our aim is to maintain a family-friendly, "PG" site. We have no swearing and no gory stuff, although some humor may need a creative explanation for younger visitors.
Pop Culture Madness is your complete trivia resource. Click on our Home page for oddball trivia or our Trivia section for our ever-expanding organized trivia categories.
Our motto: "All The Pop Culture News That Fits, We Print!" We are adding more information daily. Well, semi-regularly. If you don't see a link for what you're looking for, then it's your responsibility to write something up, and send it in. WE NEED WRITERS!!!

By the way, PCM does NOT allow Pop up ads, Pop under ads, or sneaky spyware. Nor do we link to sites that have excessive Pop-ups, spyware or inappropriate (all ages) material. If you find one, please let us know and they are toast!
Also, since we don't "sell out" to those Pop-up advertisers, and we're too proud (so far) to ask for donations, we'd like to proudly point out some of our carefully chosen advertisers throughout the site. They have some cool stuff that should be sitting in your room, or wrapped like a present for a friend.
Please check 'em out!
