Interview with Buckcherry
 

(March 2009) - A PCM Buckcherry Update:

Wondering what Buckcherry has been up to lately? Kristyn caught up with Keith Nelson while he was on the road with Avenged Sevenfold.

"It really was a continuation of a tour with did last year with them, it went so well that we just decided to add more dates," explained Nelson.

Keith was nice enough to explain what's going on with the band and what's on the horizon for this summer! They don't anticipate a break in their tour schedule and plan to stay out on the road as long as possible!

"We really are a working rockband and being out on the road is something that comes naturally to us. We are in road mode right now." said Nelson. They just recently hit their 100th show mark and don't see an end in sight. These guys have tons of energy! If you attend a live show from Buckcherry, expect a good ol' fashioned rock show. They aren't into the glitz and glamour of a stage show.

We joked with Nelson about what he thinks about the rocker sex symbol status that comes along with being in a successful band like his. Buckcherry has certainly had many crazy fan experiences while on the road. "Too many to count," Nelson had said. One example is of fans tattooing the band's autograph onto their bodies!

"It's definitely a wonderful biproduct of making music for a living," he laughed. "It doesn't change what we do or how we do it but it's amusing and entertaining."

For 2009, Nelson hopes to make Buckcherry a true international band and tour throughout countries that they haven't visited yet like South America. If you're a Buckcherry fan, chances are you could probably catch these guys out on the road in the future!

 

 

(September 5, 2008) - PCM writer Kristyn Clarke had the great opportunity to chat with guitarist Keith Nelson of the band Buckcherry! The band's singles, "Sorry" and "Crazy Bitch" remain very active on radio and singles charts! The rockers from California are coming out with a new album, "Black Butterfly," and are ready to take over the music charts once again.

Keith was nice enough to share with Kristyn his thoughts on Cruefest, how he isn't too great at their song on Rockband and his favorite tracks off their new album!
