Q: Being that The Roast is airing on TBS, do you feel it'll be a little easier on you guys since it's a bit more family friendly than say Comedy Central?

Cheech: Well, maybe, but I hope not! (laughs)

Q: How were you approached with this idea?

Cheech: They came to us, there was a big ground-swell of Cheech & Chong love going on and we wanted to be a part of it!

Q: How did it feel to be out on the road again and performing in the "Light Up America," tour after so many years apart?

Cheech: You know, it's great! That's really where I think we are best, out on stage. It's where we started.

Q: What would you say gives you guys that lasting appeal with audiences?

Cheech: You know, we just hit this common chord with people. The stupidity of things in life and it resonated with people over the years because of the simplicity of it. It's been durable for all these years. My question is, is this a reunion or a comeback? I don't know..

Q: Should we be looking for a sequel to "Up In Smoke" anytime soon?

Cheech: I don't know, probably. If we haven't killed eachother, it's a good possibility, ha!

Q: Now that you guys are back, are there still plans to maintain your solo careers? Any upcoming projects?

Cheech: Nothing definite now but I'm sure we'll both be involved in projects we want to, I'm always trying to get movies or TV shows made, doing a lot of writing. We have the opportunities to maybe write a book now. But we're having a lot of fun being Cheech & Chong now. I just did an episode of "Lost" before we got on the tour. We're now able to take advantage to this asset that we own and we really weren't before. We're putting all the pieces together, we can do anything!
