About the Band:

In their short two years, the guys have scored festival appearances at NEMO, Locobazooka, Popfest and the Millennium Music Conference. The band's online fans reach into the tens of thousands - they were voted No.1 Unsigned Artist in the first two weeks of their presence on PureVolume.com and were a featured performer at the CMJ 2008 Metal Radio party. IONIA also recently won a battle of the bands to be featured on the Hartford Connecticut stop of the Taste of Chaos tour. The band was featured on two television shows, CN8 and Fearless Music Television, with their appearance on Fearless being re-run do to voter request. Their work is starting to pay off, and the guys are having a great time doing it...

Show Review:

PCM's Kristyn, Alexa, and Rebekah only have one word to explain Ionia - fabulous. We all went into the performance with somewhat low expectations. It was their first day on the tour after all, but obviously we were wrong. The lead singer's powerhouse pipes was definately the best suprise of them all. We expected another run of the mill rock act, but were pleasantly shocked by their stand out performance. If you missed their set, you missed out. They may have drawn a small crowd at Warped Tour, but it's only a matter of time before they are playing sold-out performances.
