Question:
So you've been doing music for a long time, since you were really
young. I imagine that you've gotten the chance to work with
many musicians. Who was your favorite person that you've worked
with?
Tim Rawbiz Williams: The favorite person I've
worked with thus far... I would have to say Omarion.
Q: Why was he your favorite
person to work with?
TRW: You it's just something about entertainers.
You know I love Usher, and I'm a die hard Michael Jackson
fan. It's like, working with male entertainers that dance
and the whole pop thing... I don't know it's just something
about that I really love. That's why I'm really looking forward
to possibly making in this band with P. Diddy. He falls along
the same line.
Q: Speaking of the show, how
did you get along with it?
TRW: Well you know, I got a call from a friend
one night and she asked if I was auditioning. I was like auditioning
for what? And I had actually TiVOed that particular episode
of Making the Band that Diddy made and blogged about auditioning
and I hadn't seen it yet, but she told me about it. From that
day I was like I think this is something I want to do.
Q: That's awesome! How was
the audition process?
TRW: Oh!! It was tedious. They said no lining
up before 7, I got in line at about 5am. So I didn't audition
till about 5pm so I was in line for about 12 hours.

|
Q: Wow!! That's so long! So
then you got on the show! I've seen some episodes of it and
P. Diddy's kind of scary! Have you ever been scared or intimidated
by him?
TRW: You I haven't really been intimidated
by Diddy much. His presence is definitely an immaculate one.
When he comes in the room the whole atmosphere changes but,
me personally I haven't been intimidated by him. I guess the
most I can say is he like what I was doing.
Q: Right, well that's good!
So being on the show has to have its ups and downs. What's
your favorite part, and the part that you dislike the most?
TRW: Well you know I definitely love everyone
in the house for the most part. There are definitely a couple
people you know that I wouldn't choose to hang out with or
be associated with if I could say the least. However you know
I just like it, I was raised as an only child, and being able
to kind of wake up and go talk to one of my good friends.
A couple people who I live with in the house I actually grew
up with.
|
|
Q:
Oh really?
TRW: Yeah there's actually a couple people
in the house that I grew up with and I've known them since
I was a young boy so it was cool that I was able to associate
with them. But as far as things I didn't like... getting used
to the entire production aspect of things and cameras being
in your face 24/7 of course is definitely going to be different
for someone that's not used to it. But it was a great experience.
I'm definitely glad I did it and I look forward to doing it
again.
Q: I'm sure the pressure was
immensely hardcore, how did you deal with it?
TRW: For the most part, the pressure was hard,
but for me the only thing I could say was pray. So I just
prayed and asked God to help me through everything and make
sure that I showed up in every challenge, and survived as
much as I possibly could, as much as my skill would allow
me to.
Q: You mentioned before that
there were other people in the house that you wouldn't necessarily
hang out with. Were their any fights or anything that happened
while you were in the house?
|
|
TRW: Well... I'll say this, there were definitely
opposing personalities. Some people were just very immature
about things. Like there were situations that happened where
people just didn't know things, things that were just dumb,
like some people put pizzas in the oven with the cardboard
still on it, like how dumb is that? Haha! There were just
like some people that were you know, still young, Not everyone
was adults and on their own so some people were still maturing
and learning the path of life, I guess you could say. But
some people who cool and most of the people I wouldn't hang
out with were just immature and annoying people, which I'm
sure you'll probably be seeing in the next few episodes.
Q: Haha, yeah I can imagine
a house full of a bunch of guys, it would be hard to get along
with everyone. Ok, one last question. I read that you name
your basses after all your ex-girlfriends. How did that start?
TRW: Haha! You know my basses, as weird as
it is, in between every relationship that was even worth remembering
I got a new bass. I don't know, it's weird but all the basses
end up kind of taking on the personality of my ex-girlfriends.
I have Felicia, Maya, Angie, Niquelle, Jasmine, I have 2 Jasmines
actually, and 2 different Stephanies. But it's just kind of
something that just stuck. I just named 1 bass after a girlfriend
and after that, I don't know. Everything just kind of took
on a name, but it took on that personality as well. Jasmine's
the one I've been playing and will probably be shown most
in the show.
