PCM's Rebekah and Kristyn had the recent opportunity to sit down with The Almost band members guitarist Dusty and drummer Joe to dicuss the band's new album Monster, Monster which is available in stores now! Check out the video below to find out more about The Almost's musical influences, cooking adventures, and why a certain Ting Ting's song comes to mind!

When The Almost played at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia they were full of energy, with front man and founder Aaron Gillespie sporadically dancing around and flinging his red hair into the air. They started off their set with the title track from their last album Southern Weather before getting into some of their new songs from their latest album Monster Monster. They did a good mix of old and new stuff and kept the crowd excited by routing on the Phillies, who were in the midst of game 3 of The World Series, throughout their performance. The Almost kept things interesting by performing some of their more upbeat alternative rock tracks as well as some slower songs including the song “Monster” off of their Monster Monster album. They ended their set by giving thanks to Jesus and left the crowd pumped up and excited for The Used to come on stage.
